About Us

Our Journey of Compassion

Since 2016 Sri Onkar Goushala is taking care of more then 150 indigenous cow breeds with the help and contribution of Gou Sevaks.
At Sri Onkar Goushala, we lovingly care for cows and bulls, even after they grow old, stop giving milk, or can no longer work on agricultural land. These cows and bulls are served with love and compassion, and are cared for throughout their lives. Every day, the cows are let out for grazing.
At Sri Onkar Goushala, daily Goupoojan (cow worship) is performed. According to our Vedas, Goupooja is considered as important as Gou Seva (service to cows). You can celebrate birthdays, marriage anniversaries, or any other auspicious occasions at the Goushala. Visitors are welcome to attend in person, or they can provide their names in advance for the Goupoojan. Photos and videos of the Goupooja will be shared via WhatsApp.

Support Our Sacred Mission

Providing fodder and caring for the cows at Goushala is expensive and ongoing responsibility. We need your kind and continuous support to serve cows.
You can support us in procuring
a) Essential fodder and medicines.
b) Your contribution can make a great difference in their lives.
c) Can join as a volunteer for Goushala activities.

We constantly need Gou-Seva for feeding cows, taking care of ill, aged, abandoned, and injured cows.
As the number of cows in our Goushala increases, we need greater support to provide proper food, veterinary care for pregnant, Injured and aged cows, and dedicated Gopalaks (caretakers) to help us serve them better.
